Execution:
- long or extra-long version, the front end of the extension is designed as a collet
- by tightening the knurled clamping nut, the collet is clamped to the tap
- the torque transmission takes place via the square
- the rear end of the extension complies with DIN, so that the extension can be inserted into clamping devices like a tap

Use:
In quick-change tap inserts or tap ER collets with square. For cutting threads in inaccessible places, such as deep recesses, steps, interfering edges on devices, extremely deep internal threads or directly on cast walls.
